A New Workshop with R J Stewart. Celebrating
the 2006 reprint of his acclaimed 1986 classic book
Living Magical Arts: Magic and the Imagination for the
21st century
In this weekend intensive we will explore the relevance
of magical arts for the 21st century, beginning
with methods found in the book, but rapidly progressing
to new techniques and insights that have grown from
the original material.
From R J Stewart: “Living Magical Arts was a book intended
for the 21st century. It contains the seeds
for many techniques of ceremony, vision, and inner contact
that are still unfolding for me, and for us all, today.
This was the first book, written in 1986, to include
Inner Temple and Innerconvocation methods, which were
originally confined to a secret oral teaching.”
During the weekend workshop we will share and experience
how the oral teachings became the book, and how the
material in the book can be opened out further into
new and sometimes surprising methods of spiritual magic
and inner transformation.

The
Dreampower Tarot
The Dreampower Tarot is a unique and visually stunning
deck of cards and book by RJ Stewart, painted by Stuart
Littlejohn, published by Harper Collins.
The Dreampower Tarot has 22 new trumps, never seen
before in this world. It reaches through three deep
realms of the UnderWorld, the Stone, the Pearl, and
the Whirlpool. There are 16 new court cards, and a full
cycle of number cards based on the Four Elements of
Air, Fire, Water and Earth in the UnderWorld. The deck
has it's own original patterns of card layout and connections,
which are easy to use on an inspirational basis.
In this workshop we will explore the Three Realms in
meditation and inner vision, encounter the powers and
beings shown in the Trumps, and experience the changes
of awareness and energy that they bring. We will also
work with the court cards, to make contact with four
orders of spiritual being, Ancestors, Spirits, Souls,
and Messengers. We will learn how to work with these
beings as allies and teachers in our meditations and
dreams.

The
Way of Merlin
An in-depth workshop on The Way of Merlin: the
Prophet the Goddess and the Land. Based on R J
Stewart's influential book, The Way of Merlin
( Harper UK 1991), this workshop explodes the stereotypes
about Merlin, and explores the hidden aspects of the
Merlin tradition in ancient bardic Celtic wisdom teachings,
with especial emphasis on relationship to the Goddess,
and how the Prophecies of Merlin (12th century) relate
to our present time. In the mid 1980's RJ published
a book on the Prophecies of Merlin (Penguin

The
Sacred Rose:
Flower Essences, Folkloric Healing, and the Evolution
of Spiritual Consciousness
R J Stewart and H Reid Shaw
A two day workshop, this event is different in many
ways from my usual workshops. Most noticeably, of course,
is that there are two teachers. H Reid Shaw is a qualified
classical homeopath and flower essence practitioner.
He has also done many years of deep spiritual work,
and has been working with me since the early 1980's,
when we met during workshops at Hawkwood College, England.
Together we will be offering some insights into the
Mystic Rose, the spiritual nature and power of flower
essences, and teaching some practical forms, visionary
workings, and meditations, that go far beyond the normal
text-book interpretations of flower essences in practice.
The Rose is regarded as the ultimate spiritual power,
embodied in nature through the red and white roses,
and working in constellation and harmony with the spiritual
powers of the other flowers. There are many flower essences
in use today, but we will be working primarily with
the main essences created by Dr Bach, a British homeopathic
physician, and famous as the founder of modern flower
essence practice.
Included in the weekend will be many connections to
folkloric flower traditions of spiritual healing and
regeneration, and some deep inner working with the Rose,
both in faery tradition and in the mystical original
Rosicrucian tradition. Those of you who have an interest
in, or involvement with, the work of Rudolph Steiner,
will find many connections and inspirations in the practical
work that is offered during the workshop.
Our aim is to bring you inspiration, not merely information,
and (most of all) to give you some clear insights and
knowledge regarding the spiritual powers and spiritual
beings that are just beyond the veil of standard flower
essence practice. The flower essence tradition is ancient,
reaching at least as far back as the healing arts of
classical Greece. The 21st century is when we move this
spiritual art to a new level, founded upon the work
of Dr Bach, the mystical philosophy of the Western Tradition,
and the ancestral wisdom of plants and flowers handed
down to us through the ages.

THE PROPHECIES OF MERLIN AND THE MYSTERY OF 2012
 In 2007, R J Stewart appeared on a History Channel program, broadcasted repeatedly around the world, discussing predictions and possibilities for the year 2012. He talked about the medieval bardic/druidic Prophecies of Merlin. This weekend workshop reveals what was not discussed in the film, or was cut, and more. Join us for a detailed examination of the alignment between planet Earth and the Galactic center, a major sidereal alignment that has been building since 1998, and how this event will influence not only life on Earth, but metaphysical worlds. The coming alignment is part of a 25,000 year cycle, and at its mid-point of 12,000 years brings significant changes in the planetary and solar consciousness. The event that we date as “2012” is described in a number of traditional calendars and prophecies from various cultures. The Prophecies of Merlin are a remarkable set of verses, written down from oral Welsh (Brythonic) tradition by Geoffrey of Monmouth, in the 12th century. They accurately foretell many of the developments of our modern world, culminating in a cosmic vision of stellar re-alignment as perceived from planet Earth. This is the 12,000 year direct alignment between Earth, Sun, and the Galactic center. Not a wild theory or an obscure vision, but a sidereal fact. We will explore the implications for our own consciousness and sacromagical work, along with the connections to bardic tradition, alchemy, sacred magic, and the Seven Directions. A set of visionary practices, meditations, and physical alignments that bring us into a greater consciousness and vibrant energetic relationship with the alignment of 2012 will be taught in this workshop.

THE MYSTERY OF THE SEVEN DIRECTIONS
In spiritual traditions and in all forms of magical arts worldwide, the Seven Directions play an essential role. In this weekend workshop we will explore the Directions through discussion, meditation, vision, and simple ceremony. They are well known as Above, Below, Within, East, South, West, and North, but have many hidden aspects that can lead to profound changes of consciousness. If you are a relative beginner or experienced in working with the Directions, you will find much inspiration and new information in this workshop!
Modern people can be alienated from the Seven Directions in countless ways, and our understanding of the Directions often comes from a simulation or from text rather than deep interaction. Our transportation, our communications media, our entertainment, our work conditions, all conspire to alienate us from a harmonious sense of Place and Direction. The very assets and gifts of modern culture can keep us limited to simulations and confuse our perception. How may we cure this? We cannot live as our primal ancestors lived, nor in most cases, would we wish to. Yet to be complete humans, we have to re-learn how to relate to our world, after generations of alienation, hostility, and rejection. The concept of the Directions and Sacred Space is widely known in alternative culture, but when we look more closely we find that it is often treated as a given or an accepted notion that is not deeply considered.
R J Stewart is the author of 41 books and has been teaching workshops and classes internationally for 27 years. He developed this new workshop after discovering, much to his surprise, that in any working group of students many people have widely varying ideas on the Seven Directions. Some chose to bypass the concept entirely or treat it as a merely formal introductory phase to any meditation, ceremony, or visualization. Yet the Seven Directions are the foundation of everything that we are. We cannot Be without them. This is true in the natural world, and even more significant in the spiritual worlds. THE
INNER MYSTERIES OF AVALON

before the current wave of interest in Avalon and Glastonbury,
R.J. Stewart was initiated into the Inner Mysteries
by two remarkable British adepts, W.G. Gray and A.R.
